NYU vs Umich vs UT Austin (Undergrad)

Hey,

I'm a high school senior trying to narrow down my undergrad choices. I will be majoring in Economics at all of these schools. I'm out of state for all these schools and cost is not a concern. Which one would be best for SF IB/California in the future? If you could share your thoughts/questions it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

If you know you want to work on the west coast why didn't you pick schools on the west coast?

So you didn’t apply to business at any of these schools? In that case Umich is your best bet since it has OCR and has a good amount of alumni on the west coast. UT is good but Econ from UT might not get you anywhere. NYU Econ would be similar and on the complete opposite side of the country you want to work at. I’d argue UMich has the most prestige out of the three anyways (the overall school, not the individual business schools).
