Does anyone have insight on WTF the "Officer" designation is at Credit Suisse? This would be for a middle-office risk role. My best guess is:
Exempt Non-Officer (ENO) = Analyst
Officer = Associate
Senior Officer = Senior Associate
Can anyone corroborate this? I'm worried about taking a role that doesn't put me on the same track as other hires. I just want to make sure there isn't a dual-designation system like they have at Citi where Associate = Good Track and AVP = Screwed Over for the same exact job.
your guess sounds like mine. officer usually just means they have signing authority for the bank (which would make sense in a risk role) and are an exempt employee.
At Citigroup BO it was the role between analyst and assistance vice president. The first promotion you get after undergrad.
Is there a "senior officer" role as well or is that the only go-between?
