How long did it take to receive the paper offer after committing verbally? Specifically for a large bank (IBD). Is 1.5 week wait time normal?

Offered verbally over the phone, accepted and HR emailed me a docusign an hour later. Not sure if this was the norm, but my friend had a similar experience with RBC last spring.
It can take anywhere from an hour to a few days because of internal HR hoops to jump through to get it "on paper".
