PE Associate Prep
Hey all -
Any advice for PE prep? Starting a megafund in a few months, coming from a BB.
To help narrow down the question, perhaps these questions would be better:
1) What is expected of a megafund PE associate on day one, 6 months in, 1 year in?
2) Knowing you have ~3-4 months before the jump, what are some things you can do now to make sure you can hit the ground running?
Thanks and I appreciate any wisdom!

Now that I have accepted an offer with a PE group, what is the best way to prepare for the new role? I am coming out as a middle market IB M&A analyst. Should I refresh my accounting, LBO skills, etc? Any other tips?
Also, if you know of any other relevant postings that would be helpful I'd appreciate it. I have already read through the posting by CompBanker (2/4/10 posting on //www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/anyone-else-find-their-pe-job-boring) which was helpful. Thanks.
i am interested in this as well. would appreciate any insight or advice people can provide.
