Post Undergrad - What To Do Now?

Hi all - I see a lot of discussions on here of people asking what they can do while in undergrad to be able to break into their industry of choice. I however, have already gone through undergrad, and I think this post could be a great place for a discussion for what to do AFTER undergrad. I went to a school where I hardly even knew what things like PE and IB were. I honestly didn't heard about these areas of finance until probably my senior year in undergrad.

Anyways, I am interested in AM and ER in particular, and would like to hear what people think is the best route to get into a role for either of these areas. I have my undergrad in finance, and I currently work at a credit union in a finance role there. I also took the CFA level 1 in December and believe that I passed (waiting for results). I had a finance internship and did some work with my school's investment fund while I was in undergrad, but I am not sure what else I can be doing at this point to show a possible employer that I would be a great candidate for their firm. Thoughts?

Any suggestions on what I or anyone else who is out of undergrad should be doing in order to break into AM or ER? I can't think of much more than taking the CFA and doing my best at my current job. I look forward to the comments.
