Potential New Networking Platform

Hey everyone! This content is only slightly related to WSO, but I am wondering what people think of a potential career platform for college/graduate students similar to FishBowl or Blind except the platform would consist of current students and alums and the current students would be able to connect with alums in different industries and ask general questions, etc. Please comment below if you’d find this interesting.

This sounds like a great idea, it will be a good kickstart for beginners in networking, it'll help them ease the stress and fear of networking

Crowded market, how are you different from the 10,000 other networking startups / communities? What makes your idea unique and worth pursuing rather than collaborating with an existing organization? How you are going to reach the scale required for network effects to start working? How do you incentivize alums? How do you verify their qualifications?

Really appreciate all the feedback. I'm not sure I explained well the idea would be that alums would be able to ask each other questions too anonymously. like one analyst saying to another (at a different firm) this happened to me at work advice/thoughts? And then students would also be able to ask questions. Like finance community for McCombs students and alums as an example
