Any suggestions for best online course to learn python? I was considering Code Academy and Udemy. Code Academy seems to be the more popular choice, but Udemy has a course that relates specifically to finance and investing. Open to other suggestions as well. Thanks!

udacity has a decent intro, you can learn a lot on youtube too.
I highly recommend Udacity as well!
If you want to be a quant/data scientist: You should not be thinking what course, rather, what many many courses should I take in my university programme If you want to be a L/S fundamental investor: Wouldn't waste your time tbh. If you want to be "other" (macro, etc.): Can't speak to it, defer to others
While not married to a particular HF strategy the goal right now would definitely be L/S Equity or Global-Macro. I’m going to be IB SA at a global M&A bank. What other skills would L/S funds look for if not coding? Thanks for your reply.
