awesome episode of the pod, have you been a part of the interviewing process for your company since getting hired (been the interviewer?). what did you like about the candidates that you hired if so?
Thank You, I have been a part of the interviewing process for my company since getting hired. There's a lot of things we look at but one top thing we look for is someone who can learn quickly and remain calm. Throughout the case process there are a lot of things that we throw at you to see how you respond in the heat of the moment. If we can't trust you to do that then we can't trust that you will be able to do it with the client.

Do you want to make a career in implementation or are you looking to pivot to strategy via MBA or otherwise?
My goal is to pivot to Strategy but I do not feel that I need to make it to MBB. If I did want to MBA would be necessary.
I am looking to pivot to Strategy via MBA eventually but it will not be targeting only MBB since chances are still slim
How did you overcome your lower GPA to get interviews?
In the episode of the podcast I talk about how important my networking skills were in helping me get an interview. Networking is one of the most important things you can do aside from having good internship experience to help you land an interview.
I managed to get on the phone with a partner next week. I am thinking how can I ask for a recommendation or get selected for an interview. He is a senior partner/director of the office I am applying to. any recommendations?
