2 years commercial MC (promoted after first year)

Apologies, but when it comes to working at a BIG4 the question is more how to break out than how to break in;-)
You're not wrong, at least on the audit/tax side
I have found the consulting side to be much better... may even be sustainable for me long term
I wanted out of audit myself, but it's not really necessary to point it out on every single accounting-related thread.
I'd expect people who claim to like consulting to understand business models and such. Patrick et al have put accounting content on WSO off and on for a long time, so you'e not special shitting on accounting. Just part of a growing group of people who should scroll and read something else.
Sassy but true. Basically the objective is to break the glass ceiling as a manager and jump to industry as fast as possible.
How did you switch from audit to consulting. Have you ever worked with Human Capital consulting?
Got lucky and got staffed on a consulting project. Impressed people in that group and they helped me cross over.
I have not worked with anyone on the HC side.
