Rede Partners thoughts?

I'm an IBD analyst and I've recently been headhunted for an analyst position in London at a placement agent called Rede Partners.

The role sounds very interesting however the recruiter warned me it would be similar hours to IBD, (including weekend work when on live deals) but with the caveat of lower pay which almost put me off the role completely. I do really like the sound of the role so I'm willing to overlook the pay cut if it's short term but given the pay gap worsens at the Associate level (discussed below) it sets the impression it will continue to widen/worsen later down the line?

I won't provide exact figures but at the Analyst level, the pay range I was told was roughly 10-20% lower than IBD on a total comp basis, I thought it would improve at the Associate level but the pay gap widened even further. The Associate range I was told was about 20-40% lower than IBD on a total comp basis.

Does anyone work at Rede or have any friends there / know any info on them as to whether the pay would improve later down the line?

Thanks.
