Bump—close to 250 members now. Currently looking at solutions to integrate WSO RE forum feed so it won’t necessarily move traffic away from the site.
Ummm, at first glance the user interface is horrible on discord. But I'm not in my 20s or teens
Agreed, the real benefit is being able to use their voice chat. But I don’t think anyone is using it for that in this case so I don’t see the point

What are you trying to accomplish pulling people away from the site?
That's a loaded question; Discord is a great tool that allows us to realtime chat informally and quickly. It's not meant to replace WSO nor is it meant to pull members away. None of us have stopped using WSO because this group exists. Think of it as a group chat on facebook--just because we all chat in the group doesn't mean we stop posting our selfies.
