Resume for Off-Cycle Intern at BB-IB and Mid-Cap PE

Hey,

I'm applying for off-cycle internships in Investment Banking and Private Equity for this year's fall in Germany.

I would really appreciate some feedback regarding my resume:

thank you

I was about to review your resume for you, but when I opened it I could barely focus - the block, colored header at the top complete with picture was too much for me, haha - I hope you are just trolling around.

In the event that you are not - first and foremost, get rid of that header and use the one from this sample resume here

Next, your experience bullet points need some work - they are decent, but could use more substance and some sort of focus on results or impact to your team. Also, all bullets should start with a past tense verb

This should get you started.

It is customary to attach your picture to CVs in Europe.

- Bulls make money. Bears make money. Pigs get slaughtered. - The harder you work, the luckier you become. - I believe in the "Golden Rule": the man with the gold rules.

Hey,

thank you for your comments ! Yes, in Germany it is customary to include a picture.

I will adopt the header of the sample resume but I'm not sure how to make my experience bullet points more result oriented? I don't think that my work lead to major contributions to the transactions... I was just doing grunt work like building valuation models in excel or research various types of information in the Internet...

Are you studying in Karlsruhe[WiIng]? A lot of the 2010 internship description looks redundant. You write too much about reports and that type of stuff. You could try to sell it as experience by including a shortlist of industries that you covered.

Align the beginning of your CV section with the bottom of your picture.(Detail, but it might help you.) Skip the years from sports. Think about replacing "competition level" with competitive level. small m&a/market reserach: Use the space key after commas. Consulting/Project leader: Its lead led led.

There is probably more and some of my comments might be BS, but the thread is probably dead anyways...

"It is the greatest good to the greatest number of people which is the measure of right and wrong."
