The objective statement is stupid.

Objective: To obtain an investment banking analyst position that allows me to leverage my considerable skill set.

How does that tell the resume reader anything they don't already know? Obviously you want the analyst gig - you submitted your resume for it.

All it does is provide you the opportunity to sound like a pompous ass. And waste precious space.

- Capt K - "Prestige is like a powerful magnet that warps even your beliefs about what you enjoy. If you want to make ambitious people waste their time on errands, bait the hook with prestige." - Paul Graham

While attending a resume workshop at my school, 1" margins were recommended. However, I think that is too much space to go unused. In fact, I just reduced my margins to .25" on each side, which is probably the minimum for most laser printers. And it's best to leave out an objective, it's pretty pointless.
