RETS Associates
Anyone have an opinion on RETS associates? I’ve heard mixed things, looking for a few more data points.

Career Resources
I’ve had positive experiences with them so far, but I also have only been in touch with one recruiter for the past few years.
Same as above.
It really depends on your current role and future goals. If you’re coming out of IB, Bellcast, Henkel, etc will be good options. RETS seems to have lots of owner-operator type roles on the west coast, so if you’re a PE guy in NYC it might not be that great.
But in terms of just overall, the one guy I talked to there was fine
From my experience they were solid. They seem to have a lot of relationships with smaller more private shops on the west coast specifically LA, OC and SF areas.
They are a legit recruiter/headhunter firm, but like most of them... their client is the firm that hires.. NOT you... so they have zero motivation to treat you well. Just realize this is true especially when doing more junior searches, don't take it personally if they 'ghost' you or don't reply to your messages.
Agree with all of the above. Have worked with one woman that was very good in getting me in front of quality companies. From major PE (Carlyle) to players in LA as well as smaller companies.
