I would take the offer. It is super hard to get offers from firms such as Perella. But in the end, it is his choice.

Depends on which BB. GS MS & JPM are generally considered better than the the EBs aside from Evercore, Centerview and maybe Lazard. But past the big 3 you’d get better exposure, better pay and better exits out at any of the EBs over the rest of the BB banks. This is largely due to smaller analyst classes and lack of balance sheet which leads to more executing M&A rather than financing, which leads to what I said above.
Very group dependent. Can’t just overgeneralize like that. Top group at other BB’s is better than most groups at the ones mentioned above. Just depends
