second undergrade ?

Hi all,

I'm an analyst in a FoF in HK, 22, 2 years work exp. Due to some event I'm at the same time finishing my bachelor (business) in a french school.

In High School I was into maths & physics, I wanted to study those in university till the PhD level. However I was in France, a lovely country with such a flexible job market = lot of Physics PhD just get shit, struggling with unemployment, or getting job that has nothing to do with their study and passion ( as expected most were deeply frustrated by that). So I went to prepare a business bachelor, to "secure" my future (just before 2008)

Hopefully I had the chance to escape to do exchange program in Hong Kong and Shanghai, which ultimately allowed me to meet professional and get a job once those exchanges were completed.

Yes you can imagine how happy I was when I realized that, in the rest of the world, getting a bachelor/master/phD in science doesn't lead to starvation, and help to get in finance more easily.

Now I plan to pass the GMAT and apply for some Msc in Finance for september 2012 (some part time here, and some full time in europe/canada)

But, (and we finally get to the subject's tilte) I'm also considering the possibility to get a second undergrade, in physics or maths. The reason is mostly my interest in the topic (and the idea that a scientific formation wouldnt necessarily badly impact my carrer and work in Asset Management). The goal is not to make a career as an academic, but to know more about something that interest me, to have better quantitative skill (less people would be able to bullshit me with phony formula) and maybe in the end be able to apply the knoweldge of two (or more) different field in my work. (Epistemophilia in short)

There is the possibility to do a bachelor from distance with a french university (they send the subject, exam etc...) however I would prefer a program in which I can have more interaction with professor and other student (as well as a normal degree). Do you know if some university take people in part time for bachelor ? Have you see any case of people with work experience going back to uni for a bachelor in a different subject ?

Or should I aim for full time bachelor program ? (lets' take out the direct cost variable, as for the opportunity cost, it's difficult to measure, taking into account 4 years of no salary is incomplete as we also need to see what, over a lifetime, not having this bachelor could mean... etc).

Or maybe should I go for a Msc in Finance, work several years. And then re-start my scientific education in my thirties ?

Please let me know your opinion
