Should I disclose personal investment account to my employer after I close it?
I work at an Investment Bank in the US and started trading during COVID-19 lockdown. I totally forgot about the compliance and very recently realized that I should be pre-clearing trades and no options trading. But I have been trading options and stocks. As soon as I found out about this, I closed all my positions and deleted the brokerage account. It's time for me to annually recertify any investment accounts that I hold. I am not sure if I should / shouldn't disclose because they are already closed or just disclose and face the consequence.
I know I screwed up big time, greatly appreciate your suggestions.
