Should I do an internship in the spring to prepare for 2022 SA recruiting?

Hi,

I am a sophomore at a Top 10 school that’s a semi target. I am looking over my spring semester and it seems I will have lots of down time because I am not taking an overload like I usually do. I plan to maintain my 4.0 this upcoming semester which will take some commitment and also focus on my extra curriculars with my leadership. But I am think if I should try to get an internship in PE this spring at a boutique and I would likely do it if they are hiring. But if they aren’t should I try for another position or just focus on the other parts like networking, technicals, interview prep and relaxing ? I have already secured a 2021 internship.
