Should I include positions which I have not started on my resume for recruiting?
Hello,
I'm looking to apply for full-time positions to some banks and was wondering if I should include on my resume that I will be interning at a top bank in the winter/spring.
Will this look bad or will word get out to my bank that I was recruiting behind their back or would this be helpful? I was thinking of adding this experience since the upcoming spring internship at would be the most relevant experience on my resume?
Thought?
Thanks
No comes off as major CRINGE. just mention it in the email when you send resume (or in Other space on an app)
Yes include it
For the sake of recruiting, it's extremely common and I encourage it when I give advice to peers
Example
Top Bank Name Expected November 2021 - February 2022
Incoming Investment Banking Winter/Sprint Analyst City, State
Do the above
Thanks for the tip, would you recommend to include any expected responsibilities or just leave it to the Firm Name/ Position/ Expected Dates?
I was wondering if you could elaborate on why you would encourage it. Do you think word would get out to the better bank that I was recruiting behind their back if I include it on my resume? Thanks.
