Should I transfer to a target school out of Boston College (CSOM)

I'm currently a freshman enrolled at Boston College, in the Carroll School of Management as a finance major. I have plans to go into IB, and ideally end up on the street, but from what I've been reading BC might not be on par with other schools in terms of prestige and recruitment. I know its early to worry about this sort of thing, but I'm trying to line myself up on the best possible road for success. BC wasn't my first choice to go to school but it wasn't a bad start. I've got solid testing scores from high school and I plan to pad my GPA heavily while I'm here so I feel transferring may be realistic. Should I try to transfer to a UPenn or similar caliber school for Sophomore year?

We're on the second week. I know its real early but transfer apps are due in December so I gotta start thinking if thats the path I want to go down.

Depends on money, how you feel about the school, etc. You can definitely achieve your goals from Boston College. The school is well represented in all areas.

I go to a target and was surprised at the number of BC kids at the BB I was at. More kids from BC than most of the 'traditional' targets. Focusing on classes, extracurrics, being a normal person and not a WSO monkey, etc. and you'll be fine.
