Startup vs. Master's
Hey everyone,
I just received an offer from a startup fund administration platform as an investment analyst. The company is pre-Series A and rapidly growing, but the annual salary is quite high ($95K). I've also been accepted into the Imperial MSc Finance & Accounting. One of my main goals is to work in London; however, is it worth the risk to study for a year overseas and recruit as an US citizen or should I just take the startup offer? My finances aren't a concern, and I'm quite an entrepreneurial person who enjoys living abroad. I do want to eventually break into venture capital though. Would really appreciate your guys' thoughts!
First congrats on being in the position you are in, sounds like a fortunate place. In finance, I think we are generally risk-averse
Who let you back in 😭
