Still unsure what to do....

Hey guys. Per my previous posts explaning my situation (see forum topic "one more try - please help), I've received some really mixed (waayy mixed) feedback and I still don't know whether I should say something to HR about my situation or what, so here's a few simplified questions -

Will a civil infraction show up on a background check (GS)?

I know legally I don't have to disclose anything, because it was dismissed, and not a felony or a misd., but I fear that seeing what the charge was will be a red flag, regardless of a non-conviction. What should I do??

Thanks to all who have given value added feedback before and sorry for blowing up this wall with my problem....and yes, I have chilled out a bit.

it's not like I'm knocking on people's doors here, sorry for taking up so much of your "wall space" though. the feedback I've received went way both ways...if you could just read it quick and let me know what you'd do that'd be great.
