Taking responsibility for learning curve

Hi,

I am in a geographic coverage team at a BB and have come to realize that I am doing too much non-M&A BS (due to bad deal flow I guess). Consequently, I have come to ensure I really take responsibility for my learning curve myself by reading sector reports, noting down every question I ever have etc.

Just wanted to check with you guys - do you have any tips as to how one could educate himself further? e.g. any sector reports you can recommend? Books? Other tips?

Thanks a ton!
