Thinking of a career change from mechanical engineering into IB - what's the best route?

Hi, I'm a Canadian mechanical engineering undergrad in my final year in Alberta. Currently have a 3.4 GPA and was wondering what your advice would be to break into a banking position. I only have engineering internships and experience. Thinking of applying for an undergrad degree at Ivey HBA Western. Is this the right choice? Or should I consider other options such as a masters in finance at another school or should I do a finance undergrad?
