Has anyone starting on a TN-1 Visa in New York this summer figured out how they will be immigrating?

So far I completed the questionnaire and uploaded my docs to the IMS. My law firm said they want to wait for the border to reopen though and WFH for training is an option. The border is open for essential purposes such as work and many tech workers have had no issues getting their TN.

The border is actually open going from Canada to the US, even for non-essential travel, as long as you fly and don't go through land borders. There was a recent CBC article about it - it's a massive source of confusion for Canadians rn.

I'm not personally on the TN but a good friend of mine is entering on the TN as a consultant - PM me if you want a connection, though I'm not sure how helpful it might be.
