Tier 2 Consulting or Tier 1 Equity Sales

Dear WSO lords of wisdom,

Recently graduated from UK target, have offers for general entry level at LEK/OW/S& and cash equity sales at GS/MS/JPM in London. Which one should I take?

I get that consulting offers better learning opportunities and exit options, but it’s pathetically underpaid in the UK (£45-50k)

I want to be on the buy side in the long run and consider S&T a more direct route to HFs and AMs. However, cash equity seems frowned upon on WSO and the job of reselling research doesn’t seem too appealing

Thoughts?
