TN visa emergency question

Double post cause I'm in a panic.

I've gone through 5+ rounds of interviews and gotten a go-ahead from everyone including the MD of the coverage group. I just got word that the head of research got spooked by their law firm's assessment of the November 20, 2017, USCIS policy memo regarding the economist TN visa. I'm potentially going to get called tomorrow to "make my case" as to why it's bullshit and won't affect me. Got any advice regarding convincing them it's nothing? The law firm suggested that the firm should file for me but everyone I know went through the border solo. I have a number of friends who all went through this process at the border and never had trouble...

Any suggestions on how I can allay their concerns?

Any and all advice is appreciated.

I would just go on LinkedIn and pull out all of the Investment Banking Analyst / Associate profiles from Ivey, McGill, Queens, Rotman, UBC, and other Canadian colleges that started in Summer 2018 or later. That should give more than enough data points to show that getting a visa is doable. Also join "Canadians on TN / H1B Support group" on Facebook and pull out some recent data points from there to make your case.

Absolutely, I've already called a couple of immigration law firms to get some advice. I'm sure they'd know how best to navigate this stuff.
