Toronto vs. NYC

Hi everyone,

I am an undergraduate at Georgetown University. I am thinking about working in Toronto after college (I am a Canadian Permanent Resident). Is there a huge difference in opportunities and comps compared to NYC?

Also, I was wondering if it will be more competitive to get into a Canadian top bank than an NYC one just because of how few people they hire.

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

Two different worlds. It's not even comparable tbh. Places like Toronto and London are pretty terrible options. If you are at a top school like Gtown, getting into NYC banking is pretty straightforward.
