Trading platform (PA)

which platform(s) would you recommend for trading PA? For mostly macro products like indices, fx, vol, futures & etfs for example, and not really focusing on single name equities.

if you are big/important enough, then a PWM account can get access to products that retail don't have access to. you usually need at least 10mm to get into that club tho

otherwise, interactive brokers is the best retail platform in terms of access to a wide variety of securities. its not the best analysis/charting platform...so depending on your needs, you might want to invest in a 3rd party package

Hi ironchef, do you use a PWM account? I am wondering which banks provide the best PWM platform in terms of access to different markets, stock loan, leverage etc. For example interactive brokers doesn't offer access to most EM equity markets.

It seems banks require different minimum amounts as well according to this link. https://www.verdict.co.uk/private-banker-international/feature/minimum-…
