Trading Restrictions & Career Path

Currently freshman undergrad at semi-target, currently interested in trading/investing, very concerned about trading restrictions in finance industry, was wondering if someone could compile list of industries/jobs/companies that have trading restrictions, corollary, wondering if someone could compile list of finance industries/jobs/companies that are not subject to trading restrictions, in terms of jobs, was wondering if getting job at hedge fund/legit prop shop may satisfy interest in trading/investing but would subject me to financial stress because of performance pressure, also realize that legitimate companies might have decent base and performance > bonus, also in terms of prop shops: are they all what seems to be algorithmic/high frequency/rebate/market making, but currently I think discretionary seems more interesting, however, I do not know much about algorithmic, if this is the case (prefer discretionary) avoid prop shop in preference of hedge funds that have that trading style (discretionary), or would it be better to get into the algorithmic asap, there also appears to be a discrepancy between algorithmic and quantitative, may be more interested in discretionary quantitative if that is a thing
