Transitioning from Equity AM to Real Estate - How do you do it?

Looking to break into RE finance but not sure how to do it/whats the best approach - Looking for some advice from the WSO RE pros.

Currently at a FinTech company, prior to that worked in AM covering natural resource equities. Starting my career in commercial banking.

Any advice on how to position myself into the industry?
