The choice seems clear to me: negotiate a better salary/ bonus at the dev company and take that offer. You can always go to banking later but it's difficult to go the other way. Also, get your undergrad/ where you worked out of your original post, it would be easy to find out who you are with that information.... unless that is your real name, in which case I guess you don't care anyway.

You are three years out of school. Don't worry too much about the salary and go for whatever you think is the better learning experience that gets you more closely aligned with your long term goals. I initially took a 65% pay cut to move from brokerage to development because that's where I needed to be and don't regret it at all.

 

I would advise against picking banking over acquisitions unless you actually want to be a CRE banker. IMO you will gain much more useable knowledge in your other role. PM me if you want to know more.
