Typo in Email

So I just sent out an email to an analyst that I met and got coffee with over winter break inquiring about a potential summer internship. In the email, I messed up one of his coworkers names. So say the guy I was sending the email to name was Rick, the VP was Tom, and the MD was Paul. In the email I said, I would love to work under you, Rick, and Paul. How do I go about fixing this? Should I just leave it? There is no way that he wouldn't notice this.

I've done something similar - it all comes down to whether the guy is a hardass or not. I also never made the mistake again so at worst, it's a learning opportunity. Don't sweat it too much man, these things happen - just make sure you triple check the next time. I like writing an email and not sending, doing something else for awhile, and coming back to re-read. You tend to catch errors better that way.

So you think it’s just best to leave it? Still can’t believe I completely missed that. I got coffee with the guy I sent the email to over winter break and he told me to reach out around now for the internship

100% leave it.

You try to fix it now, you'll just draw more attention to the error.

For instance - I went on a first date and casually told the innocent nice lady we'd have fun making hot monkey sex. I got worried because said girl seemed like a virgin. However, I never said anything hoping she didn't pay attention to it. Two days later I was balls deep.
