UCLA Biz Econ Reviews?

Hello fellow monkeys. A few weeks ago I was admitted, and have now formally accepted my transfer admission from a community college into UCLA's Business Economics program for this fall. I've started thumbing through the catalog of courses for my major (and a potential minor in accounting) and highlighting what finance course I should focus on getting into.

I really just wanted to put this out there and see what UCLA and their Biz Econ program's standing is in the finance community. I do know that they have on campus recruiting for the LA and surrounding areas, but how well does UCLA look in the eyes of NY & SF? How does UCLA's recruiting process and "prestige" differ from something like Berkeley's Haas?

Goldman Stanley:

Does anyone have solid numbers on UCLA recruitment?

It really irks me when people say "this school is a target for X bank" when they send like one kid per year to that BB.

I'd say the # of people that went into BB from my class is in the teens, if that.

Thanks everyone. I know that although I'm at a decent target, the real work has yet to begin
