UGA - New Target for Wall Street BBs?

I am currently a first year undergrad at UGA. I have heard from upperclassmen that the Corsair Society, in recent years, has been responsible for placing 100% of its members on Wall Street. The Society is highly selective and only admits upperclassmen.

Can anyone attest to UGA's increased placement into BBs, EBs, etc over the past several years?

Due to Corsair's high selectivity (and the possibility of me not being able to network my way in), does anybody recommend transferring to a stronger overall target: UVA, Notre Dame, Georgetown, and of the like?

Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know a ton about the Corsair Society, but I do know that UGA does place pretty well for being a "non-target." It's on the level of the likes of UF and I'd say in some cases UNC CH. UVA has a ridiculous network, UTAustin has a really solid UG b-school, Cal Berkeley is the "public Ivy."

I think making it to BB/EB is doable, just network hard and get solid grades. You have plenty of time but start early and try to get some experience under your belt in any way you can. I know for a FACT that a ton of regional banks and MM's recruit at UGA (SunTrust, HW, WFS) and those aren't bad shops by any means - but it will take some extra work to break into an NYC BB/EB.

All the best of luck!

Thanks for the advice! What are some ways that someone like me can "get some experience" under my belt - specifically for the Summer of 2018?
A few that I've read about so far include: - PWM internship - Study abroad - LSE Summer School
