Fredericks Michael & Co.
Can anyone comment on Fredericks Michael & Co.?
Size of deals, rep, etc?
All i can find was they're focused on international M&A.

http://www.fm-co.com/docs/RecentTransactions032409.pdf That was on their website. From 2009. Look up the amount that various companies sold for and whatnot. I saw the number $410m on there in one area.
I think they mostly operate in random countries like finland, norway, italy, etc... (italy isn't random - but as far as finance goes it is)
It's the worst place out there. They pay no bonus and their base is lower than a corporate job. They have terrible pipeline and people coming from second tier banks, that got laid off and need a temporary job. Pipeline sucks so much that on a few occasions they could not pay the salary. MDs treat people terribly. Turnover is very high.

Update on M&A Boutique Fredericks Michaels in NY (Originally Posted: 08/15/2017)
Dear all
I would like to have an input of this M&A Boutique regarding reputation in NY and also in terms of deal flow in US and abroad
One friend told me that they are hiring and I just couldn’t find them in any type of league table to understand their relevance in NY and US
Thanks !
this is the only thread I could really find on them on WSO, https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/fredericks-michael-co
They are a boutique that specializes in cross-borders m&a. They will hire a few analysts here and there (good to know someone there). Probably won't show up on a league table, because they are smaller. Most people there speak Portuguese or Spanish fluently.
Very sporadic deal flow (did very well in 2014, one deal closed in 2016 and zero in 2017 that I can find). Shops that are averaging less than a deal per MD most years are suspect IMO.
They've done a few decent sized deals, but on some ($400+ million in 2014), they were second chair. They do a fair amount of buyside work, which could be interesting for movement to corp dev.
