Valitas Capital Partners - Part-time internship?
Valitas seems to be a decent, small boutique investment bank in Canada, having taken part in some huge transactions (as well as smaller ones). Anyone have any info on it?
They're looking for part-time interns and I'm curious to know if it could be a plus for someone who will likely have to go through FT recruiting next year.
Their website is incredibly misleading. The transactions listed are the ones that the firm's employees have taken part in over the course of their careers, in varying capacities. In reality, they are a new firm with little to no deal flow. You probably won't get any transaction experience while working there as a part-time intern. Regardless, having IB experience on your resume can be helpful if you don't have any other experience in the industry.
