All else being equal, you will find many more Emory alums at top firms (almost all from Goizueta). Vanderbilt is a great school though and top students there do quite well.
Wouldn’t recommend transferring between these schools purely for recruiting purposes
I think Emory is a great school, and you can definitely land an IB role from there. Emory has a lot of finance clubs, including their own student investment fund, which gives you the ability to prepare for future interviews.
Additionally, I heard the guy-girl ratio is amazing, with many women complaining that it's hard to find a guy that wants to settle given how few men there are.
