Vanguard Investment Management Thoughts and Opinions

I've heard a lot of negative stuff about working at Vanguard in WSO, but all the talk was to do with how the jobs were similar to that of a "call center," so I'm assuming those are to do with the client-facing roles. Does anyone know anything about what Vanguard's Investment Management roles are like? They aren't client-facing at all, and even though they are passive, they manage a large amount of money and have a huge impact on equity markets, so I would assume it would be a reputable role to have. Anybody have any thoughts and opinions?
