Wait for higher GPA after semester to start emailing boutiques?
I am currently a sophomore at a Target and have been emailing a bunch of no-name boutiques, but my GPA is pretty low (3.3). The ones that have asked for a resume have all never got back to me, and I think the 3.3 is sort of immediately a red flag. I got my shit together and am getting straight As this semester and will have a 3.6 by the end of the term. Im wondering if it is better to wait until a month from now to continue emailing boutiques so they can see a higher GPA. It seems like a lot of them do their recruiting in December/January, so I don't think I would really be giving up a lot of opportunities. Can anyone offer any advice here as to whether I should wait a month for my semester grades or just continue sending emails now? Thanks in advance for the help. Hopefully I can pay it back some day.
I'd honestly just say 3.6 and by the time they ask for transcripts yours should be updated. Not sure what everyone else thinks of this, though lol..
Seconding this, especially if you're 100% sure you can get that 3.6.
