Wall Street Mastermind, worth it?

Hey guys, I'm a student trying to break into IB, preferably M&A or restructuring. Was recently introduced to Sam Shia and his program to help students get graduate offers and internships, with a supposed 90% success rate. However, he charges 6800USD which seems quite steep but still worth it incase it's difference between getting an offer and not. For information, I'm a first year student on a 3 year course at a target uni and aiming for BB or EB offers. Sam makes it out to be very hard and unpredictable to get these offers although my university and grades are certainly good enough.Could I get any feedback whether it's worth spending this amount of money or whether I have good enough chances to do it myself if I put the work in?

Total scam, upperclassmen and WSO can help you with behaviorals then you just need the BIWS guide for technicals. Even if you can't get a free PDF copy of the BIWS guide from upperclassmen it's definitely way cheaper than his ass. If you legitimately hustle at a target getting a banking offer is not that hard.

I had a call with the guy’s colleague who was a 4th year student going to a small bank and he basically quoted 5-7k for the course, and said that based on his assessment I wouldn’t be able to break in without the course. I, for one, wasn’t gonna pay that much for the course, plus didn’t like his attitude, so I said no thanks. I ended up at a top group by the end of it so suffice to say, he was wrong. I wouldn’t recommend the course. If you are international or a non-target he’ll use that as a point as well. FYI, I am an international, non-target asian male and still got in.
