WATCH OUT FOR PRESSURE SALES TACTICS (like OFFICEHOURS)

Guys, just giving you a warning not to fall for pressure sales tactics. Being fresh out of school and young is no excuse to being suckered in to paying thousands of dollars above market for something. I'm just giving you a warning not to believe all the BS these people will tell you in order to close their sale. The founder will often spew random nonsense about being at capacity and 'creating a spot' for you while having massive spend on social media and spending money on partnerships. Clearly they wouldn't brag about meeting 100 people a day on their cringy newsletter if they had 'capacity issues'. ‘Top' finance candidates can be unsure about recruiting too, but opting for a $6k program when you're already in a good position seems like a scam. You get good alumni / community involvement to help decide offer decisions from the other mini courses (the $300 ones) and get real time help from people on this forum for free or other smaller courses you buy- don't think you need to pay $6k for unlimited texting service to some bums.

I'm making this post for you to take the time before making a decision- don't fall BS to their 'urgency' tactics, especially where they OUTRIGHT LIE and are EXTREMELY DECEPTIVE about when oncycle and recruiting kicks off in order for you to feel like you 'have to buy' because 'so many people have already went through the course and are ready for on cycle to kick off'.If you are the type of person to drop $6k in order to get some marginal tangible benefit (notice the 'value' of these courses are also "potential 'networking opportunities'" and such nonsense, but the actual curriculum isn't better than WSO or PeakFrameworks) then go ahead, especially if you don't want to spend your time actually learning the PE process (god knows how annoying for IB I get it). But if they are actually selective on who they choose even a little, they are working with people who have top pedigrees at top banks who would have placed at such places using a much cheaper or no course at all (so they brag about placements but it's like might be taking a bit too much credit). Also the CEO seems like such a tool off his parents money on his Instagram posting travel that was clearly sponsored and then brags about being such a grinder (you should know which one I'm talking about). They may be doing well otherwise and congrats to the team that works hard to make this happen there, but wow wish this type of similar service was started/ran by some other people with better morals and self awareness.
