Wells Fargo Phone Banker
Anyone know anything about being a Phone Banker for Wells Fargo? I know they're hiring for them-and while I have ZERO INTEREST in any telemarketing type gig, I've heard to get one of the better jobs (security analyst, etc) you've got to start out in the phone bank, being a teller, or some other shitty job for about a year at least.
I don't think bank teller/phone banker -> securities analyst is a realistic career path man.
Troll or idiot
I've seen people go from similar gigs (teller, etc.) to Commercial Banking. I don't know about Analyst but if this is your opener, take it. Once you're in, you can start looking at other areas.
Just about every company has a "promote from within" policy, hence the "internal employee job board"
Right, but they still have standards. No IBD or S&T group is going to promote somebody from teller to analyst when they could have 1000 more qualified applicants in 2 days. You'd be better off doing something completely unrelated to security analysis. Just get a job with responsibilities.
