oh for sure there's different grades (for more commentary I'd recommend following prestigious pete)

creme de la creme: partner at goldman, KKR, BX, etc.; PM at a hedge fund with over $10bn AUM

some preftige: MD at MS or JPM or some EB. also non KKR/BX/Carlyle PE

minor preftige: any bank that's not a EB, MS, JPM, or GS

a hodgepodge of random jobs with zero preftige or redeeming qualities aside from the email address like Citi BO, PWM at any firm, janitor at Bridgewater, any consulting job, anything in accounting

kill yourself: northwestern mutual, vanguard, teller, IT guy at Barclays rates desk, etc.

Why is it that every month there's a stupid post talking about "prestige" and "value"?? Find what interests you, and pursue it. Being good at anything will get you money. I know someone making 7 figures creating a popcorn franchise...bet that doesn't stack up with there with these "prestigious" jobs.

I think- therefore I fuck

lol Mr. dick, hows retirement, do you do any side businesses that gives you a stream of revenue? or you got too much of that f### you money..

I have a couple of things going on (M&A, real estate, and Bombay Sapphire product placement (I'm not just a spokesman, I'm a satisfied customer)), but mostly for personal satisfaction. I don't need anymore money.

The dark side is definitely more prestigious. Darth Vader is way more famous than any Jedi.

I like where your head is at kid.

Well this brings up a very important preftige discussion: who's the most prestigious super villain? Does Darth Maul carry more weight than Vader? Maul killed Qui-Gon fighting at full force while Obi Wan turned off his light saber for Vader, and Vader's mass murder spree was on a bunch of kids. Or is it Magneto? He's been fighting an entire group of mutants for decades, he survived the Nazis and he's had an entire island nation and his own space station. Baller. Or the Joker? Maybe General Zod? Galactus is pretty bad ass and eats entire planets so he's got some Goldmanesque shit going, and you can't forget Mystique because not only is she bad ass, but she's hot as hell in every incarnation. Of course I don't know where any of these guys went to evil business school so that will weigh into it. And speaking of schools, Dr. Evil did go to evil medical school so we may need to consider him as well.

So, when I join a super villain cabal, who has the most prestige? And what are the exit opps of each?

I think it's fair to say Vader wins because of the suit and the voice. Possibly not the most powerful, but definitely the most preftigious.

sith lord is definitely most preftigious.

traditional path: janitor>stormtrooper(intern)>tie fighter pilot, star destroyer pilot, death star gun operator(analyst all the way to VP)>royal guard (MD)>sith lord (BSD)>emperor (roughly equivalent to ray dalio)

exit opps: really only 2 options, death by incineration or hanging out with yoda as a hologram, pretty easy decision imo unless little people scare you.
