  • Internship (paid or unpaid, whatever you can get and whatever works for you. Don't go into debt for this)
  • Volunteering within a financial function (mostly easier to get but it'll be for a good cause. However, high-profile non-profits might also be competitive)
  • Any prep course for what will come in your curricular or studies (ie CFA, GMAT, or whatever). 3 months is a lot of time and will yield good results if used correctly
  • work out more, with more focus on diet and cooking/ingredients. Better body = better mind
  • networking takes time. Use the time you have to speak to as many professionals in your desired area as possible. Attend conferences, networking sessions, open days, travel to visit potential schools or departments, (..)
