Will I be looked down upon for living in Brooklyn?
Where do the majority of people in their early years of investment banking live? I was thinking about renting an apartment in Brooklyn, but I don't want to be looked down upon by my superiors by living in Brooklyn as opposed to the upper east side (park ave). Please let me know your thoughts.
Unsure if this is serious. No one cares if you live in Brooklyn. People in banking typically don't live in Brooklyn because it's a horrendous commute
where do people typically live then? It was a serious question, I honestly just dont know.
Normally in Metuchen, New Jersey. Never in Murray Hill.
Edit: It was a joke, my bad. I literally grew up in Metuchen, and now live in Murray Hill, I felt qualified to shit on both, but I guess not.
How would people know that before you edited your comment lol? Next time just preface...
a lot of analysts live in murray hill but it depends on your office location.
Where in BK are we talking here? Williamsburg? Greenpoint? Bensonhurst? It's a massive borough you can't just generalize
