without highschool diploma to college to target to banking

I am curious what fellow monkeys or potential employers would think about my story. I was a bad kid in high school and didn't graduate. I went through some crappy times and was generally more interested in playing competitive sports than studying or even going to class. A few years later, I found something that I was actually interested in and I enjoyed; finance. I enrolled in a college business program as a mature student and through hard work was able to transfer to a target school and get a summer offer in banking.

Now I'm curious how my story may be looked upon by people at my firm or in the industry in general. Should I try and come up with a bit of a spin on my story for it to sound better?
