Arcadia Capital is a small, lower middle market investment bank in Brickell. They hired 10+ fall interns early October this year (unpaid). They recently lost an analyst, this shop has around 10 people. Seems suspicious to hire so many fall interns so last minute. Any thoughts?

I don't have an answer to your specific question, but I spoke with several former employees of the firm and they all told me the same thing: it's a scam firm. They did not pay annual bonuses and verbally humiliated people with zero protected weekends. 4/5 people said the same. This happened to people at analyst level.
