Investment Banking Msc. - Is it worth is?
I am looking at Master degrees, and I wonder if Investment Banking Msc are a good option. Queen Mary London has one, but the entry requirement aren't as specific as for the one in Finance, Investment and Finance, etc..
I also feel like it can only lead to IB, but I have a feeling that what I will learn in a IB Msc is simply what you learn as a first year analyst, am I wrong ?
Just tryna make it in the industry, could this degree be a real asset ?
I'd advise strongly avoiding Queen Mary London. It's not considered a top Uni by any means. The name of the masters may sound applicable to IB, but no front office roles readily recruit there. You'll have little to no chance of getting a sought after IB role.
There are a lot of threads on which masters degrees in the UK are targets and semi-targets. I'd suggest focusing on those programs/Unis.
