CS SF
CS SF just called about a first round for a summer analyst position. Today is the first time they have contacted me. I accepted an offer awhile ago, but just want to post this here because it shows that that recruiting isn't over.

No...MS SF had a couple of dozen kids up last week and offers were extended Tuesday.
But I take it you're MS bay area. What group?
Just noticed your user name.
Just noticed your user name. So you're in SF too then? To the best of my knowledge all there is in Menlo Park is tech, could be wrong, though.
Re: Just noticed your user name.
haha... Prescott Moncrief III.. did you get the name from LSO?
CS doesn't have an office in menlo park. They used to have an office in palo alto but they relocated to 650 california. the tech group and the healthcare group occupy 2 floors in the building
no im in the south bay, but
no im in the south bay, but yea it's mostly tech, healthcare, some real estate, and product groups in SF/Peninsula.
MS - Bay Area / San Francisco
How many analysts did MS hire for Menlo Park ?
Does MS have any Tech people sitting in San Francisco or is it only Menlo park ?
All MS SF really has is M&A,
All MS SF really has is M&A, Financial Sponsors, and RE, RE being the biggest group there. Outside of that, it doesn't make sense to be in SF, and if you are interested in tech, then yes, you definitely should go to Menlo Park.
And to Sunlounger, yes, the name is borrowed from LSO, and I was talking about MS for Menlo, not CS.
Banks in the Bay Area ?
I am guessing Morgan Stanley is the only Investment Bank with an office on Sandhill Road ?
Lehman has an office in Menlo Park as well and Citigroup, Merrill Lynch have office in Palo Alto.....
However GS, CS, UBS, DB, JPM, Lazard, BS,etc have offices in SF only. Do they have any presence in the Bay Area ?
